When will things settle down?!?

Have you been putting off your family portrait session?

I get it. There’s always so much going on and plenty of excuses to “just wait until things settle down.”⠀

But there are some very good reasons why it’s important not to wait to capture these fleeting moments and turn them into memories.

#1 - They grow up so fast!

Sure, it’s cliché, but it's true. Kids grow up so fast! And nothing shows how much they change than looking back at photos and seeing what a difference time has made. Especially during that first year, from newborn photos to 6-month photos to one-year photos. It's incredible how much they grow in such a short time! So do yourself a favor and capture all the milestones to look back and remember all the stages.

#2 - Make it a family activity

Look at this as an opportunity to spend time together and have fun as a family. You could go out to eat after your session or grab an afternoon ice cream. Make it a tradition and something to look forward to each year.

The build-up to the session is a big deal, too. Get your family excited about the session and the special time you'll have together. You can get everyone involved in picking a location, coordinating outfits, and planning fun poses you’d like to capture.

#3 - Unique gifts for loved ones

Family portraits always make excellent gifts. A framed print from your latest portrait session is simple, timeless, and oh-so-cherished by loved ones. As much as you love to look back on the changes in your family, so do your friends and family. And for those you don’t get to see often, it’s also an excellent way to stay connected as they can see your smiling faces daily.

Let’s create a collection of beautiful memories that you can treasure forever.⠀
