Headshot Session by another photographer

I hired a fellow professional photographer friend to capture my headshots so I could update my website and social sites.

@karapearsonphotography and I met over a decade ago. We’re similar in many ways, most notably in our passion and drive for our photography businesses. When I hired her to capture my headshots, I knew she would 100% understand the message that I hoped to portray through the photos. She nailed it. The whole process was easy, fun and truly eye opening for me as a photographer.

Trust. I realized how much TRUST is involved in a session. While I was on the other side of the camera, having my headshots taken, I found myself simply trusting that Kara was getting the best shots. At first it wasn’t easy giving in to that trust but boy am I glad I did give into it. I absolutely love all the images she captured.

There’s a reason I say to my clients “thank you for trusting me to capture your portraits”. That trust is what makes me able to create joyful photos for you.
